Beula's has been in this town for over 30 years under different owners. They provide hearty diner-styled food--sometimes with some Mexican choices that the current owners have incorporated. You can sit out back when the weather is nice or cozy up in the very compact dining room when it is not. Portions are large, individually prepared, and wait times for food are usually 5-10 minutes. My favorites are the Chicken Ortega sandwich and the BLT with avocado and Montery Jack. I usually get a salad as a side but the Potato Salad and Home Fries are awesome if you need the carbs!
It may not be much to look at, but man is it good! By far the best breakfast and lunch in this entire area. It's slim pickings in Lake County and my wife and I have tried them all. Beaulah's Kitchen does it right! It gets pretty crowded and you have to fight for their attention. But without fail, Beaulah's will have you rubbing your tummy wondering how your plate got so empty. That and looking around at other customer dishes trying decide which you want to try next!
Awesome breakfast food and sandwiches. Staff is very friendly. Great value, great food.
