Bijou Restaurant & Bar
Reviews

Excellent quality food, beautifully cooked and presented. Strong flavors (which I like) and a modern, cozy ambiance. Note that servings are sensible (read that: not large), which is fine if you came for the quality. This is one of my all-time favorite restaurants.

Do they still do the prefix menu??! 4 stars because I've had it 3 times and each time was just as good as the last. We usually get the braised spare ribs, ahi tuna tartare, the panko Brie (on the reg menu) pan seared salmon, and of course the CROISSANT PUDDING.

Manager "forced" to take shots with customers?! Staff partying with the customers each time I have been here. Then don't dare say anything to staff, you'll be stared at, talked about, tongues stick out at you...shameful. Immature staff.

I don't usually write bad reviews, but here goes. We went her on a Groupon Tuesday night. The service was fantastic but the food and decor were so so. For appetizers, my wife had the risotto cakes which were very good and I had the lobster puff pastry. The pastry was very good, but the lobster was too salty to eat. For entree's my wife had the salmon which was cooked perfectly but with tasteless mashed potato's that had the consistency of reconstituted powder. I had the pork loin which had one good piece of loin and one piece as tough as shoe leather paired with the same tasteless mashed potato's. For dessert my wife had the creme brulee which see liked and I had the macaroon ice cream sandwich that was too sweet to eat and the chewy cookie stuck to my teeth like cement. The decor was very plain and the noise level even with only about 20 people in the restaurant was too loud. The bar should be separated from the restaurant by more than a metal chain screen. I'm glad we went here on a Groupon and didn't pay full price. I never send bad food back to the kitchen, I just don't return. Sorry for the bad review Bijou, but it needed to be said.

Came here with livingsocial prefix...apparently, they dont want to honor it. We got there and they ask if we had reservation, no where on the vouchur said reservations are required. Secondly, we got there at 8:55 and they told us the kitchen is closed. The websote didn't have that information either..the staffs were rude. Dont come here.
