My son and I live down the street and started ordering burgers on nights when I was too tired to cook. Their mushroom burgers are our favorite!!! Big juicy burgers with homemade buns and lots of flavor! Yummy!!! The second time I went in I found out that locals get a discount!!! What a bonus!!! Nice ambiance, great food, a good selection of beers...what more could you ask for? Uh Coffee!!! I went in when my car broke down in the rain to get a cup of coffee and was served an entire french press...very good!!! Nice owners too!!!

This place is amazing! Nancy was our waitress and she was awesome, make sure you sit in her section. The beer selection is second to none, especially if you're a fan of IPA. Their burgers are top notch, I highly recommend Bacon Overload Burger!

Just good stuff! A new place to stop every time I drive past

Wow. What a surprise. We hadn't tried this place (simply based on the name), but now that we have, we'll be heading back anytime we happen to be traveling on I5. Salads are excellent and well sized, as is the Asiago BLT panini (they added fresh basil to mine), burgers are ridiculous, and sweet roll put the kids over the top. We ate a late breakfast/lunch, and we skipped dinner because we were all so full. Wish we had one in Ashland! The interior mural artwork is also fantastic. Side note Dunsmuir has a massive community swimming pool just two doors away, with very inexpensive fee to entry, like $1.00 for kids. Also, they were running a promo with the gas station next door, buy X-dollars of gas and get 25% off your bill at Yaks.

I stopped by the cafe on May 21, 2014 for lunch on my way back to Portland, OR. To my surprise the inside was eclectic and artsy... I liked it a lot. The food was a great and palatable surprise also. My husband couldn't resist ordering a Brochette hamburger ( he rarely eats out) and it was so tasty that I took a few bites of it myself! I had the Veggi burger and spicy fries, yum! The best part was when the owners brought us a couple of the local micro beers to taste and some of the most wonderful sauces and dips, I had to get me some!, So I bought what I could get from their restaurant and was quite happy to be given a bottle of a caramel syrup that is not your average caramel syrup! We sampled it on a sticky bun and it was quite delicious. I can't say enough about how amazing the food was but I can say that we'll be stopping by for lunch the next time we pass through.
