sucks... the whole town does. the motels, the pilot, the old beacon, the chevron, the jack in the box.... the town sucks so bad that the once upon a time loan decent place here actually went out of business. .. bill and Kathy ' s was good... too good for the town... the town sucks so bad that they closed the one good thing that they had! don't forget to just keep on driving. Dunnigan is a waste of time. disgusting.
Do not waste your money on these lazy, rude people! My wife just broke down in this establishment's parking lot (only needed a jump start), when she asked an employee (who was on his smoke break) if he could help her, he told her "No, I'm smoking my cigarette." The manager was no help, in fact all the employees told my wife no! Did I mention that it was 30 degrees outside, at 5 AM, on January 1, 2015, and that there were kids in the car?! She had to wait for a good samaritan to walk outside and see if she needed help! Thank you kind sir, and to the employees of this Pilot Truck Stop... keep your sad excuse for a town, your sad excuses for lives, my family won't be stopping there ever again. And your corporate office will be getting a phone call, email, and get blasted for your lack of compassion or customer service.
This place sucks!! 9 women standing in line for restroom. This is a car stop that happens to sell diesel for trucks as a side business. WAY TOO MANY CAR PEOPLE! Truckers have to stand in line for fuel receipts and restrooms. From the number of cars and their drivers and passengers inside you would think this was the only gas station/rest area/food store for 200 miles around!!
As it was a late night I decided to get something to eat at Wendy's, nothing much else around and wanted to fill my stomach for the road to Redding. The prices were a little higher than other locations. I ordered the combo deal Baconator. Everything tasted just fine. 30 minutes later is when I noticed my luck changing. Let me tell ya I'm so glad I didn't get back on the road right away :- D While looking around at all the goodies, I felt my insides moving and bolted to the bathroom., Sorry Custodian it was Wendy's fault...
