Harris Ranch Inn & Restaurant
Reviews
Over the year's this place has become a staple for travelers along the Interstate 5 corridor in California. If you want a hearty and tasty meal on the road to keep you fueled up for many miles, this is the place. My wife always wants to stop here to get a steak lunch or dinner. You won't leave hungry or disappointed. It may have taken years off my life, but I've ordered the hickory smoked salt and brown sugar rubbed ribeye with whiskey butter that last two times I've been there and left full and satisfied. I even skipped my next meal as a result. Great stop along the way!
I always look forward to stopping here when I'm traveling on I-5. It can be a little pricy but you really get what you pay for. The service has always been fantastic and the food is farm fresh.
I've heard about this place in the past. But as savvy native Californian consumers who support California ag all the way, we purchase Harris beef at our local groceries and restaurants. So what's not to like about anything related to this company??? I'm talking about carnivores like us. Anyway, me and hubby were on the way from our home in Sacramento for a short vacay in San Diego. This gem of a place off of I-5 gave us the best biscuits and gravy. Of course, I had to be healthy with a side of fresh fruit. Hot coffee and a delicious latte fueled us for the rest of the ride. Yummy non-beefy items to purchase for the journey or for the family and friends back home who don't even bother to venture out. Beautiful surroundings. Super friendly and professional employees. Landscaping and surroundings for the photographer in you and me. A total class act in Flatlandville. My only regret??? We didn't stay longer. Or stay the night. Next time!!! You betcha!!! Thank you for being a part of our memorable vacation!!!
Excellent place to grab a steak dinner from one of California's best cattle ranches. Also with a nice bar and hotel facilities. Very country-like atmosphere.
Service was good. Food was boring and just barely ok. Recieved "from the can" tasting clam chowder, Sent back old rubbery fries, got bland beans. Very expensive for the quality. My partner got old, cold sweet potato fries. Sandwich meat and pickles were the best part. Won't be back. Tasted like dennys.
