Attitude so thick its palpable. I've been to coffee houses and cafes up the whole coast of California but this one is more uncomfortable than a porn movie with your mom. Counter person never smiles or acknowledges that, without your coffee, AND THIS BEING MY FIRST/LAST TIME HERE, that I'm not aware of your menu options or location. Latte and breakfast sandwich (egg, cheese and sausage). Did I want mayo, onion or tomato? On a breakfast sandwich?? Tomato on the side. So you're okay with the mayo and onion? I'm sorry, was I absent for the HOW TO ORDER FOOD lesson? Did I order onions? Did I ask for mayo? Who needs coffee to focus, me or you? Latte served by happy cute smiling girl before I even finished the order to pay. She was good. Cute brown eyes too. Customer comes in to orders breakfast sandwich ON CROISSANT. I was not aware that was an option. Onions and mayo, yes. Croissant or English muffin, no. Tried to change it. Up charge. That's okay, I'll keep it the overpriced, confusing unfriendly order it currently is. Ohhh WiFi? Yeah, its about as reliable as a politician's promise. I'm sitting at the bar by the window, INSIDE, and it says OUT OF RANGE. Reminds me of Starbucks, those morons put the router in the back of the store too. Great reception IN THE KITCHEN! If your wife doesn't bitch at you enough and you need to feel insulted, this is your place. If you want happy fast service with personality...SARAFORNIA across the street. That's where I just came from!
Clive has had the Roastery in town for over 20 years--and the place has become the de facto social center during that time. The coffee is FRESH and roasted just around the corner--essential for the best coffee. The drinks are made to order and are what ever yo ask them for--they know their craft. There is a tasty selection of bagels, sweets, salads, and sandwiches--and the prices are very UN-Napa Valley! For no extra charge, you can also get a dose of British Humor...

Delicious and huge blt, real greens not just iceberg, although a little heavy handed on the mayo, so ask for it light.
