Best Mexican food and seafood that I've ever had! It is in the middle of nowhere, check it out if you can. You won't be disappointed, but most likely pleasantly surprised.
This place was pretty ok, although I was a bit disappointed they didn't have horchata or menudo. Also, I found a fly in my soda, didn't get a sorry or anything, they just replaced my drink and pretended it didn't happen.
Who would have thought a hole in the wall restaurant in the middle of nowhere would have such good food. My boss flies in from Florida ( to visit the nearby solar plants) when he does he makes it a point to have the fajitas... I make it a point to have the steak and lobster... Love it every time! If you are traveling from California to Las Vegas make sure you make a stop off if at all possible you wont be disappointed.
This was by far the worst food I have ever had in my entire life (rather eat MREs). My Dad told me it was very good - he once went in the 90's, the place has been open since 1988, but it seems to have gone downhill since his visit. I tasted only a couple bites of each portion and asked for a box to go (so that I didn't appear rude). Do not go here. I'm thinking that most of the other reviews are people were their taste buds do not work or they are friends and family of the establishment. Example: The queso was undercooked slab of cheeses (stringy, greasy, single glob of disgusting). My tacos were not consumable by man or beast, greasy slabs of meat(?) and tortilla. The refried beans tasted as though they were refried too many times. My margarita was all sour mix. The salsa had no flavor or spice. The bathroom was worse than any public truck stop bathroom I've ever been in - poop was on the side of the toilet; I don't know how that happens actually.
We love this place! The food is always great and the service is always friendly. Their Cadillac Margaritas are great too! If you order a pitcher of margaritas they add a shot in each glass.
