Went there a few weeks ago. At first, it seemed nice. Pool tables, nice bar, etc. The band playing was called the Rhythmistics I think. There was a skinny little old lady who played the keyboard and sang who was annoying as hell. She wouldnt let the band just play as she kept running her mouth in between songs about...I couldnt tell because the sound was so horrible. The guitar player could barely play and looked like Santa Clause with a hair cut but Im sure Santa could play better than this guy and he looked to be about as old as St. Nick. The rest of the band was pretty good but unfortunately, it seems they recruited the two aforementioned from the old folks home. Then, after about an hour of having our hearing destroyed by the terrible sound, we got our drink bill. $60 for five drinks??? Complete crap! Not a good first impression and for me, those are the ones that count. We wont be back and will be telling our friends to stay away as well.
I am a single 23 year old woman. And whiskey tango is the only place I could go where I know I won't get followed home. A live bands are awesome . I don't know what fender skirts was like but I can only imagine this is way better. The older is awesome bartenders are super sweet are they definitely take care of you
haven't been here on 'happening' night yet but all is good. the crew Anthony, Hope, & Bob are all great. one fault...no food. make that 2...no shirts
The owner needs to get off his high horse. Just because you don't like something that the band is doing, doesn't mean the customers/fans don't enjoy it. Biggest mistake a bar could make is to your customers angry. I will never spend another penny in that bar.
Best east side bar hands down!!!
