Big Nose Kate's Saloon

We ate here during Wyatt Earp Days last year and we liked it! The wait staff was fun and chatted with us outside in the back patio. The place was packed, but we got plenty of attention. My only wish is that they would make a second level balcony so you could eat and drink while watching all the activity in the streets. The establishment that does this first will make a fortune. Everyone wants to see the action in the street! We wanted to eat/drink at the same time, and I'm pretty sure we weren't the only ones.

Atmosphere is great and gives a lot to look at and take it. Unfortunately, the food was fairly underwhelming. I had a Reuben and my wife had the mushroom swiss burger. I'm fairly sure my Reuben meat was just ham and not corned beef and my wife is confident her burger came from a frozen patty and had an off taste. Our meal came out lukewarm but we were too hungry to care. We sat at the bar and the bartender never attempted to refill our water cups. Overall, I would skip this place if we ever come back to Tombstone and try somewhere different.

Loved the experience, good food great service ... one load mouth at the end of bar kind of shot up the experience. He was a local driving a red jeep with testicles hanging from the bumper...a real jerk.

I had the Big Ass burger, 1 lbs burger, and my brother had the Outlaw burger. They were both good. My brother said his was spicy, due to the pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, and sauce. But liked it still.

We had a great dining experience. Food was tasty and fresh. The chef goes the extra mile to give "pub food" a bump up from expectations. Atmosphere is friendly and fun. TRY THE COWBOY PHILLY CHEESESTEAK - Delish! Word to the wise: not appropriate for young children: definitely a bar atmosphere with nude portraits of saloon ladies on the walls and sexual innuendo in the postings. Felt a little funny with an 8 year old there, but we had ordered our lunch before I began to notice and it was the first open place we came to with our hungry crew. :)
