The Springs Dining

It was good to spend 4 days at the Resort and enjoy the Springs Dining, Outer Harbor and just relax by the pools, yes it was warm enough to be by the pools, sorry for you Easterners and your cold weather. Let's start with the Springs Dining, All you can eat Ribs on Thursday was Great, on Friday the restaurant was packed so we sat in the bar area which also had a large crowd. We ordered and got our food in a very timely manner. Jackie was our waitress and is very good, Don was the bar tender a great guy and always friendly. Scott the manager comes by often to make sure all is well. The bathrooms was well stocked and clean also the toilet paper is 2 ply and of good quality. Saturday night was Mommies Meatloaf this you got to try (see Pictures) so good. Outter Harbor Bar, nice friendly bar with great servers. Lonnie she help us out with our drinks and Adam the manager always make sure things are just right. They are putting a new deck in for outside setting. All in All a very relaxing 4 days in the Sun. If you get a chance to come to Havasu Springs Resort in the winter you will be surprised how well kept it is and the friendly people there, that's why we purchased a mobile home there.
The service was great. They handled 18 Personal Watercraft riders with ease. I enjoyed the Philly Pepper Steak Sandwich.
Service was poor. The manager started complaining about fishermen coming into the marina and fishing in the public waters of Lake Havasu. She went outside and told the anglers that they were fishing illegally in the marina's waters and also that the marina was a "hatchery". She demanded that they leave immediately, The anglers insisted that they were perfectly legal fishing in the marina provided they did not tie up or trespass on the docks. After hearing this exchange I decided to call the Arizona Fish and Game as well as the Lake Havasu Sheriff's department to find out for myself who was in the right. Both agencies indicated that all waters at Lake Havasu are open to public fishing unless official state signs indicate otherwise. They indicated in fact that the anglers were well within their rights to fish from their own boats inside of the marina. I also asked about the hatchery at The Springs and the AZFG indicated that there are no hatcheries at all on Lake Havasu. I am highly disappointed that the The Springs Dining resorted to dishonest to chase anglers away from legal and publicly accessible waters.
The food was very good. Had the all you can eat fish. Tried several flavors. It was great. Had 7 people in our group. We had made reservations and were seated immediately at a table with a great view. The service was amazing the manager checked on us a couple if times. The kids fed the fish and ducks and there were baby ducks before and after eating. The view was amazing. Overall experience a five star, but the floors were incredibly dirty, but easy to overlook
