I have been here 3 times now (every time I'm in Tucson) and each time I have loved the food. The chicken fajita's are the best I've ever had. The hand made tortillas are great and really makes the meal. To top all of that the margaritas are amazing. Service each time had been fast, but not overly friendly.
Excellent food. The $13 Carne Asada plate is the best item on the menu - fantastic flavor and great value (a lot of food). From a drink perspective good pricing on domestic draft pitchers (even cheaper during happy hour (4 to 6pm) but steer clear of the Margaritas (likely the worst thing the restaurant offers). As another reviewer mentioned make the drive to Wisdom's in Tumacacori for some of the best Margaritas on the planet!
We've been here several times now. It may not be the most up to date decor, but the food is great! We've been looking for a "go-to" Mexican place locally and this will be ours! Though we've only been a handful of times, the staff already recognize us and are extra attentive to our 3 boys, which they LOVE. :-) Definitely a family friendly place.
The food is good and the service is fine. Anything south of Tucson you can almost expect horrible service. They do alright.
It's not a bit fancy but the food is very good. Service can be slow when they they are very busy. The crowd is widely varied which adds to the experience.
