Our waitress was horrible! She took our order and then disappeared! Finally I ask one of the other waitresses if she could bring us drinks that was 30min. later! Then here comes our waitress with chips and dip we didn't order so I thought it was complimentary cuz of what happened boy was I wrong we were charged $10 for that. We got there alil before 6pm and didn't get our food til 7:50pm! The food was good tho! Just need to hire better help. Our final bill for 4 people $90.
Family went here one night while camping at Lake Chicot....Ugh....food was pretty good...but from the time we arrived to the time we left took about 2 hours...and no..they were not swamped..not good with kids at table..and i agree with previous reviewer...the service was no where near good enough for the 18% grat. our party of eight was charged...like to never got refills...we prolly won't be back :-(
My family and I ate at The Cow Pen tonight for my mother's birthday. We got there at 6:30 and was not until at *least* 8 p.m. before we got our food. Even then, the food wasn't that great. Admittedly mine was okay but not nearly enough to be worth waiting for 1.5 to 2 hours. Even after we finally got it, in a party of nine people, not one of us finished our food. The food was okay at best. The waitress hardly came to our table and did not deserve the 18% tip we were forced to give from each of us. Especially with the prices of the food so high as they are. Then when my parents tried getting a senior citizen discount, they refused to give them one because they apparently "do not do that". Go at your own risk. As for my family, we all agreed we will never eat there ever again.
