Molly O'Brien's Balboa Gate
Reviews
Great pizza and beer, at reasonable prices. Service was excellent. They were very busy on a Wednesday night, but the waitress checked back with us several times and was very congenial. A casual, fun place.
We were visiting some friends in the Village and stopped at Molly's bc looked like a nice place. Once inside and seated, our waitress made it very apparent that she did not have time to be bothered with questions about the menu. It seemed liked this was a locals only kind of place. We ordered a pizza and grilled chicken salad and a bottle of wine. The waitress rolled her eyes at us as she walked away, I guess bc we had a few questions, she obviously could not handle multitasking. When the salad arrived, a couple of things were missing, bacon bits and croutons so we just walked over to buffet salad bar to add those two items. She came running over, making a scene about being at the salad bar. We explained why and she continued her rant in a red faced manner. It was quite embarrassing so we just asked for our check. We also requested to speak to the mgr. She said she was the manager, her name was Chelsea, and she was extremely rude. If you are from out of town, I would avoid this place. The food was subpar, the service was horrific!!!!!!!
