Excellent food & service. Waitress Kelly was outstanding with everything. Kitchen was on their game.

I can't wait to return to Hot Springs, Ark . and see my good friends Greer & Pat . They took me on Saturday evening to their favorite resturant for dinner ...... WOW .... It was great... I could not stop eating their " Wine & Cheese " dressing ...... Sensational ...... I even put it on my Prime Rib ..... The best that I have had in a long, long time ........ Thanks for a great meal and nice , nice people ........ Dennis J. McCarthy .. Nashville , Tenn.......

My wife and I live in Hot Springs and work in Little Rock, so we eat out a lot in both places. KJ's Grill is our overall favorite, and we eat there at least once a week. Their specialty is prime rib, but their burgers and steaks are the best anywhere. French fries are homemade, not the frozen variety, and the baked sweet potatoes are big and delicious. The bacon-cheese fries appetizer is huge and addictive. For something a little different, try the cheeseburger salad, which is not on the menu but available on request. Even the club sandwich is great. In addition, the prices are reasonable and the service is consistently excellent. The owners are the former owners of the Brick House Grill, which has declined since they sold it some years ago. KJ's is out-of-the-way at 1834 Airport Rd. (Highway 70 West) and not impressive from the outside, sharing a parking lot with a farm supply store. Nevertheless, if you go during racing season, make a reservation, or you may not get in. Not surprised to see the “sour grapes” negative review from Bryan. He wasn’t there long, but we remember him for his mediocre service that did not meet the high standards set by the owners.

I worked at KJ's Grill for just a few months, and there is a good reason for it. The owners do not care about their employees or have a genuine care for their guests. From hearing what we servers here the owners talk amongst themselves about certain situations and facial expressions, you can really tell how much they care; yeah, they care about their money. This place truly shows a "local" type of experience in the dining room, and in the kitchen. The owners are not professional with their employees in the slightest bit. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I have worked in many corporate and chain-owned restaurants, just because of the experience and lack of professionalism I have gone through with this short-lived job.

This place was recommended to us but the steak was bad and the chicken was poor. Not sure what they make well but not steak or chicken.
