Sure loved the Neighbor's Mill Bakery and Cafe. We held a meeting in the back room with closed door and were able to video tape it with privacy. Before the meeting, we all had the food and desserts, and were blown away at such good food, with desserts to die for. It's a busy place, so the locals in Harrison must see it as one of their favorite restaurants. I mentioned to our waitress that I would write a good review, so here it is. I was a leader and pioneer in the Quality Movement in 1990, which is responsible for initiating these surveys so important to American business. With China soon to be the #1 superpower of business, and as they rely on the Quality Movement, as Japan did with their cars, Americans cannot take for granted anymore our current position as the leader in the world of business.
10 STARS! All of the fresh baked goods are delicious. Good hot coffee and a good selection. A definite must try!
The food is delicious, and there's plenty of dining seating, but what I most appreciated was the small area on the side for folks to drink coffee and get online. Since there is no other coffee shop in all of Harrison, this might be the only place for rock climbers (or other folks) passing through to spend a quiet rainy day on their laptop. Three little tables and one outlet, plus an assortment of tempting goodies to inhale. For the more health-conscious, there are a variety of real-fruit smoothies, coffees and teas. I will definitely be coming back here again and again!
We stopped here for breakfast and were very impressed with our meal! The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The food was amazing!!! My husband had the oatmeal, I had a ham and cheese omelette, and our daughter had the French Toast (two HUGE pieces of homemade sourdough). AND we all shared one HUGE, YUMMY cinnamon roll!! The bread was fresh and sooo delicious! The decor was super cute, and the cafe was neat and clean throughout. I wish we lived closer, as I can see this easily becoming a favorite breakfast spot!
Very good. Highly recommended. The service was fast and the food was delicious. Bring cash to tip. You don't get an option to add a tip when you pay with a card.
