Enjoyed the food. Service was great. Ground Beef was very tasty. Not over spiced or runny. Salsa was very good, a bit sweet. Peppers and onions cut a bit to large on the quesadilla. Only thing, NO CHORIZO !!!! I wouldn't say "best Mexician food in the South", but is very tasty for a small southern town.
I am new to Southern living... But I recently moved to Tallassee and I LOVE Mexican food. I originally thought I wouldn't find good Mexican food here in the south, at least not locally...I was so wrong. I could eat it everday!!! I must say that you get a lot of food for a small price. Along with great food, they have awesome Margaritas which they run a special on Thursdays for medium Margaritas for $5!!! I suggest you order it on the rocks, their mediums are basically a large to me and I only need one. My fiancé and I go every Thursday...great friendly staff. I recommend their cheese dip as well. I have tried Acapulco's food & Margaritas as well...Cozumel's definitely won my vote. So grateful for this place!!!
