Ruby Tuesday
Reviews
We have visited this location often in the past and prefer it to the other locations facility because of the great steaks, good service and clean facility. Last Monday we went expecting the same and were disappointed. The were out of the petite sirloin and the waitress did not suggest any other. We wound up having the salad bar. The table we were at had food under the table, and an old napkin jammed against the wall under the table, and the temperature was very cool. We had ordered 1 iced tea and one water and when given the bill, we were charged for two iced teas. One of the managers straightened this out. We were not given any rolls until almost all of our meal was done. We found that the Salad Bar was a little overpriced also. This experience reminded us of the meals we used to have at the store on Whitesburg which is now closed. (it used to be good). Just thought you would like to know. Regards, Ernie& Betty Beauregard
My wife and I eat at this location about one a month. So far we've found the following to be consistant about the service there: The service is a little on the slow side, usually they do get the orders correct, do not expect much in the way of "after care" once you've received your food. As for the food itself, it is average, but what do you expect from a Ruby Tuesday? If you aren't in a hurry and want something that is a safe bet not to offend you palet then this Ruby Tuesday will do.
We had a dinner malfunction at home on Saturday so decided to try this restaurant as it close to our home. The hostess was friendly and seated us right away. The waitress was friendly enough and kept our water full. Our main issue was the wait! We were so hungry we opted not to have an appetizer but to get our dinner right away. We had 3 adults and one child. We waited 50 minutes for our food to come out (without a single word from the manager, waitress or chef). When we brought it up, the manager had the nerve to tell us it was my daughter's grilled cheese that was holding our order up! I don't know about you but I can make a grilled cheese in just a few minutes. I order the Caribbean chicken and shrimp and the shrimp was burned! I couldn't even believe the waitress served them. they replaced them for me with some that were slightly less burned. The chicken needed way more seasoning. I suggest they work with their menu and/or chefs to get it right. Though they threw in a free cupcake for my daughter, we won't be back.
The food at this location was mediocre (we had the steak). Unfortunately, Ruby Tuesday at this location was ill equipped to handle the after-church-crowd on Sunday. Although we arrived before the rush, we waited an inordinate amount of time to get our food. When we asked the Manager about it, he said, "your food will be right out," although he obviously didn't know what our order was. Our food was NOT right out, and I didn't appreciate him just trying to placate us. Also, he asked if we needed anything, and we wanted refills on our drinks, which we did not get. I will not return to this location.
The food was great. The service was below par. The manager Appeared to be intoxicated. Next time I'll take my food home.
