Have you heard about KFC-Kentucky Fried Chicken in Fayette, Alabama? Well, I have some very disturbing news for you! A very dedicated employee of 16 years was fired from KFC in Fayette, AL while she was in the ER at Fayette Hospital with a stomach virus! There was even a picture posted of this very nice, hard working lady while she was hooked up to IV's. Guess what happened! She was fired!!! Was she on probation or something?>No! Did she have a history of being absent?>No! Sixteen years at a fast food restaurant is a long time. During that faithful 16 yrs., this lady broke her elbow at work. Just a one time thing and what happened?>Her pay was cut! Was the accident her fault?>No! This lady has been unfairly fired, without cause or reason. The owner: Steve Dean didn't stand up and do it himself, no, he took her off schedule and had the Manager do the firing. Trying to save himself for any fault which there is plenty of fault! Surely, there is someone over him (I should have said "The Suppose to be Owner"), or someone who can look into this and yes there is, Steve Dean's father, Wiley Dean, the Owner of KFC in Haleyville, AL. Those that do not know this lady are probably thinking, "oh, she must have done something", "she must have been laying out a lot", "she must just be trying to get money out of them", "she had to be doing something wrong". Well, if you are thinking any of those things, you are wrong on all of them! The only thing she did, was try to get herself well and not give the virus to anyone at work and any of the customers. Would you like to have someone with a virus handling your food or taking your money and giving your change back? So, what can this lady do? Nothing without the help from you, the public. Word of mouth speaks volumes, especially with facebook! Please, if you think this lady has been wronged, and she has, please, Post It on facebook! You don't have to live in Fayette, AL to post it, for that matter, you don't have to live in AL, all you have to be is concerned and kind enough to acknowledge someone who has been unfairly mistreated. Please, please post your feelings about this. I am not even asking you not to eat there anymore. I just want the entire public to know what kind of person is running the KFC in Fayette, AL and hopefully get this lady some satisfaction by letting the public know and the KFC to see that it is known. She did not ask me to do this. I am doing it because it is not fair, I would miss her friendly face if I were to ever go there again, which I will not and I would hate for this to happen to me or anyone in my family or friends. Thank you.
