Food was good. Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had in my life! Take a little side trip to this down home restaurant. $8.00 for all you can eat, including beverage. Open 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. You'll even have a chance to have your meal for free!
I popped in for lunch while in town on business, and the fried chicken was without a doubt, the best I've ever eaten. Tender juicy, and yes I ate the crispy batter fried skin. Fresh real mashed potatoes, salad and a selection of vegetables, yum! Real country style home cooking. They even made this Yankee feel welcome. I'm planning a return wednesday trip just for the grins!
