Grumpy's Italian Grill
Reviews
a newer customer, so i cant compare to 'old days', i like this place. I stay 'down under' (downstairs bar) and the kids that work there are the best. customer service is five star. for a cullman bar, they have a good beer selection. miller high life 1 dollar happy hour from 4-8. heck yes. family oriented crowd from what i have seen, lots of TVs to watch games, free wifi, lots of free parking, im reserving five stars however, it does have a sometimes strong 'old beer' smell when you walk in. but thats all i can find wrong so far. highly recommended. their homemade ranch dressing is among the best in town, and that is saying alot. i do wish they would use more herbs and spices in their pizza.. but that's personal preference, alot of people love it as is. its NY style, thin crust. very flaky crust, not at all like the cardboard crusts of most NY styles, like 'pizza done wrong' in fairview.
This restaurant is NOT closed. Furthermore, it is a very popular hang out in Cullman. The service is friendly, the food is very good, and there is quieter family dining upstairs or the sports grill downstairs with several flatscreens and one large projection screen for sports enthusiasts. My favorite meal is the Alfredo pasta with Grumpy's delicious mini garlic loaves.
Health rating recently went south. Seems some change has arrived, beer still best selection in town. Staff much better than a year ago. Pizza still not very good...
Nice atmosphere, clean,good food.
Chicken Alfredo is the Best!! friendly bar tenders, great place to watch a game!
