Crite's is in the middle of no where. When you pull up to it your first reaction is I am not going to eat here....when you step in it doesn't get much better. The place on the inside doesn't look any better than the outside, some people may say its worse its definitely a culture shock. But the 97 health score rating makes you walk to the counter. You will be so glad you did!!!!! The ribs are to die for. It is the first place that I have ever been to that if you pull on the bone it comes out clean not bothering the meat. They are so tender and juicy its insane. They have real BBQ sauce which is better than the vinegar based everywhere else!!! Try it and you will be coming back again and again! I suggest the rib plate!
The BEST barbeque in the southeast. Located in a cinder block building in surrounding farm country. The ribs are to die for. The service is great and the ambience is wonderful!!!
My Wife and live on Wheeler Lake, about a mile Mr. Crites BBQ We've only had the ribs and they r THE Best. Worth the drive for all to try!
