Just what you expect from a campground on the AlCan. A place to rest, and some colorful people. Can be a real treat.
This campground was highly recommended by friends. Stayed at Sourdough twice, so far. Great forest setting, large spaces for big rigs, supper staff, plus fun events at the park.
This is someplace you don't want to miss whether on a trek to Fairbanks or towards Anchorage. At night after the excellent show there is a game for really fantastic prizes. Please stay for breakfast in the morning you will have the best Homemade Pancakes you have ever tasted and yes, better than IHOP. The RV full hookups take care of every need you could possibly want, friendly people at the desk always willing to assist and the sites are the peace and quiet you have been looking for to get that relaxation you wanted. If you are a fan of the Internet, there is Internet Access available to check the email or do a bit of surfing. Sourdough is close to TOK Alaska where you can get that tank filled with your flavor of go go juice for your vehicle. If your are in Alaska and needing a friendly face and a freindly place, give this place a try, you won't be disatisfied with the experience.
