what a waste of time. i dont know what i did to offend these people. i asked questions about the ffl system because i was worried about getting the rifle i was trying to buy back to anchorage. when i tried to ask about the post office the wife flew into a rage and told me she was going to send the rifle back when it came (i had ordered the rifle 2 weeks prior at this point)... when i went in to ask for my deposit back, a white guy was asking all the same questions i had asked (im a native guy)... and getting very courteous replies... maybe my skin was just the wrong color? after a lecture about needing to polish my "manners" he did refund my money though... so thats something... i guess all i lost was 2 weeks and the desire to buy a gun. what a waste of time. if you need to buy a gun from up here i would buy it through the guy in noatak... despite what the guy at gun and pawn will tell you... he is not the only ffl in town, thats just some power trip he is on. he says he is going out of business... good riddance. im so mad about the whole experience i could write all day.
