language barrier was a problem but the food was good. No signage but we followed our noses.

Family-run restaurant, popular with locals and expats. Great food, clean and good service. Hard to find, as there is no sign outside: look for the open gate (when it is open) immediately after the UNEAS office, driving south on Av. 12 Julho.
