Awesome find by the cruise ship dock in Old San Juan. This micro brewery offers a good selection of beer from the tap. They have several styles, but the seasonal doplebock and the unfiltered pilsner were delicious. Even on a sweaty day, they were quite refreshing. Service was good but a bit slow even though they weren't crowded. Awesome to find a good brewery in this unexpected location.

Their vegetarian options are incredible! You cannot go wrong at this place if you are a vegetarian. That said, my meat eating friends were not huge fan's of the burgers even though that is what the brewery is known for. I will definitely be back, however, for the homemade plantain gnocchi which was served with a bed of sauteed vegetables - it was perfect. The beer was also right up our alley and enjoyed all around even though they didn't have all of the options available on tap that evening.

Old Harbour is apparently the only microbrewery on the island and the inside had an odd odor but we were still hopeful that it would be good. They were doing an Oktoberfest theme which just meant the waiters were wearing costume lederhosen and waitresses were dressed in revealing drindles. They also had an oktoberfest on tap to try - we ended up getting a sampler which had them all. They were... not good. The Oktoberfest in particular was really yeasty like they hadn't finished it. The best of them were weak, the worst just all kinds of wrong. I'm not sure they really figured out the whole hops thing. The civiche was good, and the mofongo was interesting. One was definitely enough to share, but the shrimps we had in it were very fishy tasting and there wasn't much else in the middle - they skimped on the veggies and garlic sauce. The sweet potato mash was a little bland, so more sauce and veggies really would have gone a long way, but overall it was okay and I'm glad we tried it though I'd prefer to go somewhere thats known for good mofongo. Somehow the beer, the app and one entree was also over $60 with tip, so that might have tempered my love of it also.
