My family and I are from India and this was our first trip to the Philippines and we researched a lot of dive resorts before making our choice. We decided to stay at Aqua-Landia Resort because they had many reviews which appeared quite genuine and they had PADI certified divers to train us how to scuba. We definitely made the right choice! The service was great, the rooms were very spacious and even had big screen TVs. My wife and I and also our daughter learned to dive while we were there and what a memorable experience! The Philippines is so beautiful and so are the coral reefs. This was truly a once in a lifetime experience for us. Thank you so much Ron and everyone!!!
I really love this resort. I live in Dumaguete, so it's a nice little get-away for just the afternoon or even a night or two, since Dauin is so close. The staff is well trained and they all speak fluent English. The entire resort is very clean and so are the rooms. I really like the layout with the thatch or "nipa" roofs which give it an authentic Filipino look, while still having all the luxuries and amenities like spacious rooms, big new TVs and air conditioning. The food is also really good and from what I understand they will begin an expansion this year which will greatly increase the size of the restaurant. One thing that really sets this hotel apart from all the rest is the swim-up bar. Nothing beats having a cold one, while sitting in the pool. My wife and I will be back again really soon for sure.
My family and I visited the Philippines to check out the great diving we had been reading about. We took a chance and picked Aqua-Landia Resort because it was near Apo Island and they had great reviews and very nice prices. The resort is centrally located to loads of fun places to go scuba diving, which meant less travel time to get to each dive site. We were more than pleased with the level of service we received and were impressed with the well trained staff. The food was great, the rooms were clean and the swim up bar was pretty cool too.
