El hornero is more like a "hit or miss" spot. It depends if you're in luck to get a good meal. The flavors are ok, the portions are astronomical (everything is huge!). I'm a strong believer that of the flavor/quality vs size ratio, it normally works on opposite directions. The biggest the portion less quality and flavor. Ordered the anticuchos de lomo well done and I got them mid/raw, I sent them back. The rest of my party (14 in total) ordered everything from steak to seafood. Everything was very tasteless and under seasoned. Too bad, I had good memories of El Hornero in La Molina from a few years ago. I will no go back to this (now) franchise.
