We were recommended by friends and weren't disappointed, the service was attentive and the food delicious, the biggest and juiciest mussels we have ever had (harvested locally) and a plate of succulent spare ribs, all washed down with a chilled bottle of Hawkes Bay Reisling, plus the company of two delightful fellow diners from Croatia made for a perfect evening.
Excellent food & great service, thee place to eat in Coromandel
Enjoyed a tasty meal with healthy sized portions. Nice to be able to buy local bubbly by the glass. Service was attentive.

Wonderful food!! - Like other reviewers here we had a fantastic meal - My husband had the kilo of Mussels which kept him quiet for quite a while! Lovely well informed and friendly staff, welcoming feel and VERY reasonable would have paid much more in Sydney. It is hard to beat the food in NZ so this one was very special. While in Coromandel town you must try the produce from the 'Coromandel Smoking Company' on Tiki Road just down from the Peppertree, unbelievably good and Coromandel Town is charming
