Great food, lovely atmosphere, service was good! The only negative was the toilet facilities were very dirty at best, water on the floor and hand towels every where. It was a busy night for the restaurant but this is an area that needs to be improved upon as it lets the place down. Our guests including myself all commented on the poor state of the toilets. However, this is the only area that I feel needs some attention!
The service was grand. The food was amazing. The restaurant has a real chill feel about it. Pricing is good. I think the most expensive thing on the menu is around $32. I had the fish of the day and the beef burger another day. Both were amazing. This is a great little place right in front of the marina. Well done, Schnappers.
My local. They know my name. :) Great food, fresh Pacific Rim cuisine, locally sourced, thoughtful wine selection. Order the oysters if they are on the Specials Board - and the same with the Hapuka. It is where I hang out when I am not working.
