I left my ipad in the ice cream joint next to Max's. It's run by the same folks. They made quite an enormous effort to find me thru facebook and called my cell phone. I thought it was gone for sure. The owner and staff were super honest and sent it by mail to my house por gratis...FREE shipping. Unbelievable. Service is hard to come by and they knock it out of the park. A foot note ...the Rocky road ice cream was awesome! Puerto Penasco is my new favorite vacation spot.
Good variety of north of the border food. However, they let the locals try to sell you candy and gum. That's okay the first or second time, but we were asked seven times which started to get annoying.
Great Place to get a bit to eat late night while you are in Puerto Peñasco (AKA RockyPoint) Our server was Ana and she was the bomb! She said they closed at 10pm but she kept the place open until 1130 for us and a few other people.
There's more to Max's than having really really ridiculously good tasting chiliquilis, there's helping hungover tourists with awesome Bloody Mary's!
