A new pleasant stay in Naples with Sea Hotels Group. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room, fittings and service we received at Grand Hotel Europa. The rooms were super clean and wonderful paintings on the walls.The breakfast was varied and full and dinner was good. It was not expensive and it was very close to the Station for trains, metro and buses. Overall excellent! Luis
I choose this 3-star hotel as it looked strategically well located. Though not on the right side of the train station but still reasonably located. Upon arrival I saw piles of rubbish in the big square and beyond its vicinity. Sure this is not a problem of this hotel only. The whole town is a big rubbish field. Public buiding are not protected. Better to stay in Sorrento as base even to see the venues in Naples. There are trains, buses and boats to Vesuvio, Pompei, Capri, Scchia, Amalfi, etc. Only one staff was unhelpful. The helpful showed me the useful ArteCard that makes Sorrento even a better place. See: 3 days ArteCard (cost 25 Euro) entitles free public train/buses, 2 free tickets and 10% discount for others venues (museus). Ercolano and Pompeii cost 11 Euro each (making up 22 Euro), train between Sorrento and Naples is at least 10 Euros.
I have used the Grand Hotel Europa several times. It is well located, close to the train station and main bus points, ideal for all trips in Naples and Campania.Clean and friendly English speaking staff. Room was good for price paid.
Siamo stati 4 giorni al Grand Hotel Europa, ci siamo trovati benissimo, gentilezza, disponibilità e cortesia, le camere pulite, la colazione ottima, anche le indicazioni fornite per la visita alla città rispetto a percorsi non indicati ma molto interessanti. Hotel all' altezza delle tre stelle. Pulito e silenzioso wifi gratis e ottime e comode stanze tutte accessoriate. A 2 passi dalla stazione e facilmente raggiungibile. Ok
