The first time i went there, it was on the process of stardom...heard it, read it so eventually went for it! the interior is pleasant and keeps things off one's mind, the service was not good, had to wait a long time. one of the things that caught my eye was non availability of space, its kind of crowded;would love if the was much more space. Besides the above, its good that its a fun place to be, its age friendly! cool place to hang out after a long tiring day, just soaking up the scenery. So all in all, its a place you would want to show your friends.
What was once the last place one would visit even after a week-long hunger strike has become one of the few competent eateries in Kohima. After some well considered revamping n rehauling, the menu is now varied enough to hold your attention long enough for you to hold a debate with yourself about which concoction you really do want to try. After that, the decor and the view the place offers keeps you distracted just long enough for your order to be served without you becoming impatient. The food, finally, while good enough, won't leave you craving for seconds; and in fact just avoids turning into an anti-climax after the build-up. You will eventually want to visit Dream Cafe again, but the reason will be for the entire 'cafe experience' the place has to offer and not for the food alone.
