Amazing! We showed up unexpected on our way back from Kilkenny, and didn't have a reservation, but they accommodated us at the bar with the same amazing menu and the food was spectacular! The bartender served us and said a tip wasn't necessary, although we tipped did insist and tipped him handsomely. Such a great little restaurant. We had the Hake and it was cooked to perfection! We'll definitely be back on our next visit!
Went to this lovely little restaurant with my wife for valentine's day. Making a reservation late in the day, I was delighted just to find somewhere.. but actually I got lucky because I would not have found this little gem otherwise. Service was excellent - extremely fast and efficient, servers were knowledgeable and friendly. Food quality was excellent - the starter which was the black pudding was amazing, I will return just for that. Main course again was excellent, I had the pigs on the green and I was delighted with that. Only downside was there was not much on the menu that suited my wife, but what she choose was very nice (lentil curry) and I felt the desert was very ... basic. Considering the thought that went into the starters and mains I expected a little more from the Banoffee. Overall - I would recommend this place to anyone save vegetarians or someone looking for Pasta. 9 out of 10

Lunch on saturday, food really nice. loved coeliac options on menu. just gluten free bread was not so good.
