A lovely old pub in the middle of a wonderful village. Wentworth is preserved from the ills of ugly modern development. The bar area is cosy and traditional. Restaurant is larger than demand dictated during last visit and did not eat there. Have had an average cooked breakfast. B and B entails a short walk to the other side of the road. I liked that. There is outdoor seating in an orchard - like space. To the rear, beyond a high hedge is the cricket pitch. Charming setting, top - drawer ales, nice.

Good pub grub and real ales can be enjoyed in delightful gardens.

mom and i went for a pub lunch, but after 35 minutes we were still waiting for our food. After making enquiries, the food turned up. The problem is that it wa obvious it had been stood awaiting collection, and wasnt that warm. I had so called minted lamb pie, but could not taste the mint. there werent many chips, and the peas were awful. sorry, but i would not want to go back there again.

Had a great stay for the 8th time, fantastic news a new manager on board who is fantastic at food and now does a specials menu. Cant wait to stay again. Good home cooked food.
