They have an english menu just ask very friendly. My girlfriend and I shared a veg plate and the prime beef cut basically a porterhouse it says 50£ per kilo but its a 500g serving so its half that price well worth it delicious food plus great atmosphere recommend this to anyone especially if you want steak.

Best tapas in Sevilla. Juan and his team were extremely friendly and attentive. Every dish was superb!

My brother and I were traveling through Andalusia when we stopped off at this fine institution (from a tip on Chowhound). The owner Juan and our waiter were incredibly courteous. When we showed up every seat was filled but even at our waiting post in the back, we were attended to with drinks and menus. I don't think I can get used to the Spanish way of standing up to eat but I would make that exception for La Azotea in a heartbeat anytime. We had ox cheek, grilled prawn (definitely mopped up the prawn juices with bread), tuna, etc. Everything was good - honestly - and prepared with such attention to detail despite the incredibly small kitchen. The feel of the place was also very nice. There are a few foodies traveling through but most of the clientele was local. We met a very nice gentleman who acted as an informal ambassador of the town of Seville. He bought a round of drinks and pointed out other places to visit while we were in town. It's really inspiring to see an institution bring people together over amazing food.

The owner saw us struggling with the menu and not only helped translate but recommended probably the best tapas in the universe (rice paper, cheese and shrimp pastries, pork cheek, and pork filet with amazing sauce and potatoes). Do not pass this place up!
