Very nice place. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and stylish; Breakfast is what I refer to as German breakfast, with lots of choices in cheese and cold meats, but they also have bacon and eggs and sausages. Wireless is free and fast. One star off for the broken Ethernet jack in my room though. The"welcome beer" at check in is the local astra "rotlicht" to which I have vague, mixed memories from my time at college here.
Well located in Hamburg City, in a few minutes down town. If you are to lazy to walk, you can use the bicycle or a car (MINI). There are also enough parking places available, if you are traveling by car, as we did. The Hotel is definitely the price worth, also the breakfast. There are also a lot of places where you can be for yourself or enjoy company in the Hotel. I enjoyed the stay in the hip hotel.
We stayed at 25h one night as we were in Hamburg for a friend's wedding. Even though it is not in the very centre it is is an excellent location: quiet, artsy and easy to move from. You can get the tube from the airport straight to a little station 5 min walk away from the hotel and it is also closo to lovely, young, animated areas such as Altona (we walked there in 30 min but it is just a oupe of tubes stops away if you prefer). The hotel is just great. Stylish and clean. The staff were very friendly and the bars and breakfast very good. Definetly a god place were to stay at a very decent price. Would definitely go again!
