The ribeye wasn't good but the next day the manager made up for it by offering a replacement meal on the house. I highly recommend the french onion soup which was a 8 out 10 in my book. The double jack and diet was watered down also. I recommend getting the singles. UPDATE - I tried the breakfast the very next day and it was awesome.
Finishing a 10 day award stay for our elopement/honeymoon. Very clean & comfortable, typical DoubleTree standards. Nearly all staff are bilingual fluently. Dining staff were very attentive and nice...and the food was delicious morning, noon and night. Pool facing rooms can be noisy late into the night. Convenient to downtown, however hired car rates are steep - $23 USD for the 7 minute ride. If you can brave the roads like we did, rent a car (bring a GPS unit from home!) Overall, pleased with our stay. And San Jose was much much cooler than the coasts (which are fairly easy day trips from central location).
good hotel, very nice open 1970s architecture, spacious rooms, super comfortable beds, friendly staff, nice American style breakfast buffet, dinner menu is good too. a bit outside of the city center in a quiet safe residential area. so you'd need a rental car if you don't want to depend on cabs. Cariari shopping mall with supermarket and big foodcourt is nearby (walking distance).
nice hotel, closer to global park. i was very comfortable to stay here in my buisenes trip. jacuzzi and sauna are perfect too.
Nice hotel, great breakfast, nice hotel pool... I was here on a businesss trip, but it was really a nice place to stay...
