The food was fresh, tasty with a local flavor. The service was excellent. Try the Yukon Beer Cake with Birch Syrup! Yummmm!

This is the best restaurant in Dawson! We tried other places in town and the service and food quality was very poor. The food at kates was fresh and all made in house, you can really appreciate the quality here. I highly recommend eating here for lunch and/or dinner.

Two guys there had the snobbiest attitude without the matching food quality. A total tourist trap with poor service.
