As a previous reviewer said, the food makes up for the decor. The couple recently bought this place (two months ago) and they are still in the process of making it "their restaurant". We wanted authentic Chinese food, and they provided it for us. The husband was a chef at Asian Legend (in Toronto). The kungpao chicken was slightly oily but overall good. They were very accommodating in terms of providing good Chinese food. Give them a couple of more months and they can make this place great!
