I treated my mother to a lunch while visiting the hamlet of humboldt where she lives. Because of the lack of restaurants, our choices were few and far between. We settled on wongs because it was close....what a HUGE mistake. The place was empty and you could tell the place had not been properly cleaned. There was a very disgusting smell the air, mold and grease. My mother, bless her soul, had her heart set on deep fried wontons, so naturally I ordered her some. when they arrived my first reaction was how unappealing the food looked. the waitress said they were made today. she was lying. they tasted like they were sitting in a freezer for years, no flavor and they were so overcooked all you tasted was burnt grease. I almost threw up. I sent them back, and then the owner started giving me extreme attitude because i didn't like the food. what a stupid woman. i will never go back.
