Poissonnerie & Restaurant Rayan

Delicious food, great service! :)
It's a 3.5 star Plus: The concept is different. They have the fish and seafood laid out for you like at a fish market. You pick your fish and tell them how to cook it. (baked, fried or grilled) You then choose if you want any side dishes. (vegetables, soup, rice or salad) It was fresh. So that's pretty cool The staff is quite friendly and service was prompt. Cons: There's no atmosphere to speak of. The decor is basically that of a high school cafeteria with matching cutlery (including cheap plastic glasses) The cooking is uninspiring. No flavorful sauces or spices, no mixing of interesting complimentary flavors. Just lemon, salt, pepper, oil and garlic more or less. Con: It's not well priced. We were two adults and ordered two small to medium fish (a sea bass and a telapia filet), an order of rice and one of salad and a seafood soup with just tap water for drinks and it cost us 45$ taxes included pre tip. That's pricey given No cooking creativity and no decor. Summary: good fresh seafood but pricey for the over all experience. At under 30$ for two pre tip, this would be an awesome restaurant. At 50$+ i expect more service and food preparation and presentation.
Ordered the fried calamari, breaded basa, grilled shrimp and octopus. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. Service was friendly and quick. Just over $25/person for 4 people everything in. Would definitely go back.
