River Cafe in Owen Sound is somewhere that needs to be experienced to be truly appreciated. It is a warm environment with many historical features. I'm not sure how the owner Karen recruits her staff but they are "THE BEST"! I am part of a group of friends who meet at least once a week for RC's great coffee, tea, cookies, and muffins. We love to get together to catch on what's happening in our lives, in the community and in the world. We discuss all kinds of issues, books, movies, ideas, etc. The main reason that we continue to meet at River Cafe is because of the staff there who have become like family to us, So check it out and you will quickly sense the feeling of warmth and caring that is evident within this little Cafe.
Id have to say the River Cafe in Owen Sound, On, is by far the best place to have coffee or a great lunch. They have amazing staff. Everyone of them are great with catering and are social. Its clean and inviting with comfortable furniture and beautiful artwork, which blows most the restaurants in Owen Sound outta the water anyways! Theres wireless, for all the buisness oriented people going there. And they have a daily soup, which Ive personally always enjoyed. The River Cafe is a 5/5 anyday.
