This place has been around for years. Decent spot for drinks and to check out a live band. These venues rarely exist in the suburbs. Being a Barrhaven resident I really appreciate having this place close to home. I mainly go here for the live bands and they bring in some great ones. However, the place hasn't been renovated in a long time and it shows. The bathrooms can use some updating. I have recently eaten here and the menu has improved. The food is good and portions are large. Service is always friendly too.
Greenfields is the CHEERS of Barrhaven. I've been going there for over 14 years and will continue going there whenever I need a night out with good entertainment. The food is good, the beer is cold and there is usually someone I know on either side of the bar. It appeals to both the music lovers and the sport fans with their strategically placed TVs.
Food is not so good poor quality
Cheerful junior staff can't make up for below average food, and a generally poorly run restaurant.
Interesting primarily for showcasing local live bands. Often crowded though.
