The food is alright here, but I will not be returning due to the lack of respect the family/staff have here Staff is extremely rude and customer service is crap. I was about to make an order from these folks, but the person on the phone was so damn rude I just hung up. With the high prices they have, youd expect better customer service, and proper respectful ways of speaking to people, and customers. The food is mediocre at best, but fills the spot when you want Chinese, I will now be looking for other stores due to the extremely poor and rude service Chips and Dairy has.
Their prices are garbage. They started out with great intentions, than as soon as they bought their house beside the restaurant, they sky rocketed their prices. Used to be 7$ for a lunch combo, now it's 8.55$. Used to only have to buy 14$ worth of food with tax for delivery, now it's 15$ excluding tax + a 1.50$ service charge. The general tao chicken used to be around 9.50$, then once they realized everyone loved it they bumped it to 11.55$. A small poutine used to be 3.75$ now it's up to around 5.45$. It's absolutely ridiculous, I know I'm griping for fast food, but come on. How can a successful family business be so greedy. It's literally the greediest place in Ottawa. Great food, but at least be humble, and be fair with your prices.
Let's be real here. A restaurant is supposed to have qualified staffs who treat their clients with respect and full quality service. This place is absolute SHIT. The staff ( especially the girl, is always talking with a crazy attitude. All the staffs that work in the front are not professional at all. All kids, WHAT A JOKE. The foods not that good either, very over rated.
This place has good chicken balls
Great Canadian. And Chinese food. Eat in or take out.
