For an out of date place on the side of the highway, the food was highly over priced. 32.50 for 2 burgers, a small pop and chocolate milk. It is mid December and it was quite cold inside. Not satisfied in any way.
The rooms are great. Very comfortable. The food is the best in town. Home made. Had dinner and breakfast here both where great.
$10 more than a regular room for a view of the river...well worth it. No traffic noise and like I said the view is fantastic.
I stayed only one night but it was the best I have seen and the room was very clean, as if it was renovated last week. The view from the room or balcony, of the river, was fabulous, and the peace and quiet was truly relaxing. Despite its location on the Trans Canada Highway, the traffic seems no bother, or perhaps the rooms are well insulated. The nice restaurant on location is a bonus also with a water view. The furniture in the room was very well appointed and seemed new with even the table lamps and headboard matching the tables and chairs. The room I used was # 53 and was very spacious for 2 people. Highly recommended for anyone wishing to get out of the big city.
Tractor Trailer parking, nice place to stay. Very polite staff. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Great place to stay. Your home away from home.
