Well I dont know about the map picture for this ad. Looks like a field. But its not. .I live a mile.from.this place and had never been there. Every time I tried there was a line up to get in so we passed. After years we decided to give it a try again. .Im glad we did. It was exellent there was no wait ( mid week, winter ) Its a little small but very cozy smart classy decor. The food was exellent.I was very impressed with my entire meal and my wifes. We will be back. .now I understand the crowdes. ....but well worth the wait.
Saturday night we took our friend to Romano's on Rymal Rd. This was our first time since they changed owners. Needless to say we were extremely disappointed. First of all, we had reservations for 6:30 p.m. and were not seated until 6:50. Secondly, we were rushed through our meal and and the end were not even asked if we wanted coffee. Also, the prices have skyrocketed since the previous owners left, who by the way were a family and it was a family business. This is not a fine dining restaurant so these prices were definitely outrageous. Not happy and will definitely think twice about returning.
We had stopped going to Romano's because the service was so bad, even though the food was always great. After contacting the owner directly, she assured me she would do some staff re-training, and asked me to wait a month and give Romano's another chance. So 4 of us did that Friday night. Apparently the re-training worked! The service was excellent!! From the minute we stepped inside til we left it was flawless. Courses arrived on time - not rushed, but no long waits either. Staff was very attentive to all our needs. We will definitely be going back!
