What a great place!! Super friendly staff, clean, efficient and it has it all. We were snowmobiling for the weekend. Lots of parking for our trucks and trailers. Rooms were ready early. They had comedian entertainment Saturday night where we all were in stitches. Food was very good and they catered to everyone's needs and wants. We are certainly going back!!
This spot benefits from being only one of a few restaurants in town - and they know it. I've gone here for a number of office-related lunches, which entails ordering in advance. Well, tonight I had a regretful personal order of take-out: despite an estimate of 20 minutes, it took over 40 minutes for a simple order of fish and chips, a soup and salad. Worse yet, I was completely ignored by the server on the three occasions I came in to check on the food. Then when asked about the order, she disappeared into the kitchen for another ten minutes! It took a conversation with the manager to get us our food. Bear's Den: please do not rest on your laurels when it comes ot teaching your staff about the importance of customer service and basic manners. If the food will take longer, please simply let me know. If the kitchen is overwhelmed, let me know as well...but just don't ignore your customers as though they weren't there. Unless it's for an 'obligatory' work function, I won't be returning here.
