My fiance and I have been to SammyJ's a few times now and the food is top notch. We like to try new restaurants and have have to say that the food and service there is the best in Kelowna. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Was very impressed with the menu, food, service & overall hospitality. Will be going back!
Our server was friendly. But the décor was wanna-be chic.. there were streak marks on the hanging fire place, dirty tables, the cocking/sealer on the front window was falling off the hostess was going over to it and using a spatula to reapply it every 10 minutes. My husband ordered the steak (medium well) with rice. And I ordered the ribs with cheddar potatoes. His steak came and it was VERY RARE and cold in the center, his rice was plain and did not get offered butter or soy sauce. My ribs were cold, the potatoes tasted like they were on the stove all day and we got the bottom of the pot. We both got asparagus as a seasonal vegetable and they were soggy, wrinkly and too salty. The glass my wine came in was streaked and scratched. We paid for our drinks and left to the Dairy Queen across the street, and it was WAY BETTER!
