The thing about Tofitian for me is the ambiance. Just out of town a little and very close to Chesterman beach the collection of shops Tofitian shares company with (from chocolatiere, surf shop and tacos to art glass, a juice bar and groceries) is all very dressed up in the rainforest and driftwood West coast theme. Tofitian has a cozy little patio (with a roof) right out front that is made private with a nice hedge. The shop is small and has some great local art all over its walls as well as a selection of its own items with its 'surf and fishing pirate' theme on T-shirts and what not. As much a visual experience as it is a coffee or tea experience.
