They changed the old name & address from "Mile One Roadside Cafe & Base Camp" but not the great food, Crossroad & Frontage: Portage Rd....... Fast slow food at moderate prices. Local Natural Free Range Pemberton Valley Beef Burgers & Steaks. Mac & Cheese like in Northern Italy (Lombard & Torino). Local Wine on Tap. 2- 3 doz regional Craft beers. Fabulous potato wedges, made with local Pemberton Potatoes. Sit on the deck under Mount Currie with a burger & brew. Deck just re-opened Jan 24 2014. Best collection of micro brews I've experienced in north america. Burgers with freshly made sides are top too! Kind of a semi-cafeteria style to the place, but it's still sufficiently chill that you can just enjoy a few of the interesting brews or local wines too. Watch out for their popular specials on Wednesdays.
